The Vacancy
On Tuesday 20th September our recruitment team will be making a stop at the Pack Horse in Leeds! If you’ve been keeping an eye on our vacancies and considering making the move over to the Crafty family, then we’d love you to come on down and meet the team.
Our recruitment events are fun, informative, and casual. Our team work to bring the world of Craft Union to life for you (minus the Jägerbombs) so that you can get a real impression of whether the self-employed pub operator agreement is the next step for you. We live and breathe community, so of course we will be inviting along some of our operators, from longstanding to just joined, so you’ll be able to ask them all the questions you might hesitate to ask us.
What will the event look like?
Starting off the right way with tea/coffee & biscuits, once everyone is comfortable, we will talk you through all things Craft with the aim of answering all your questions. After this you will be paired up with a Regional Manager to have a casual interview; this isn’t speed dating so you will have as much time as you need. Once everyone has finished their interviews, we’ve asked our operators to put on a bit of entertainment, you’re welcome to stick around and maybe win a bottle of something or head off.
When will it start?
We offer two sessions at all our events. At our Leeds event we are offering either a 10:00am or 13:00pm start. Both sessions will last about 2 ½ hours max. Please keep in mind this isn’t a drop-in session and we would like everyone to arrive at the selected start time. When you register you will be asked to select one of the below:
Morning: 10:00am - 12:30pm
Afternoon: 13:00pm start - 15:30pm
Can I bring my partner/baby/nan/dog walker?
Please bring along whoever you need to. We do ask that you try to keep the numbers down and only bring along those necessary; however, dog walkers may be a bit of a stretch even for us…
Where is it & is there parking?
The event will be held at the Pack Horse, Pack Horse Yard, Briggate, Leeds LS1 6AT
The pub is in Leeds city centre, there is no direct parking at the pub but plenty of parking around the city.
What should I wear?!
Our team will be dressed smart casual
What are the minimum requirements to work with Craft Union?
We have a small set of requirements that we ask all our future superstar operators to meet:
See you there!
