We're recruiting for a new pub operator or pub management couple at The High Crown in Chester Le Street
The High Crown in Chester-Le-Street is a high street pub that’s bursting with potential. The pub has a great community feel offering a warm and inviting atmosphere. During the day, the pub is a hive of locals enjoying their usual while being entertained with events like play your cards right.
We’re looking for an operator who can amp up this atmosphere even more when it comes to entertainment and sport, using their entrepreneurial flair to make the High Crown the place to be for late night boogies. We’re looking for an operator who can easily shift gears from community chats during the days, to late night venue during the weekends. Working in partnership with us promises full support from the largest pub company in the UK, helping you to deliver a proposition of great products, great prices, and great times.
The large private accommodation consists of 3 bedrooms.

What are the Requirements to Running a Pub With Us?
- You’re a Personal Licence (APLH) holder
- You’re an absolute pub lover ready to build a business in partnership with Craft Union
- You thrive in a community environment, often finding yourself at the heart of community causes, with a natural ability to bring people together
- You thrive in a high-volume environment and love that pub-buzz feeling
- You fully understand the importance of building a great team around you to ensure you deliver a fun and safe environment for your community to enjoy
- You’ve got an entrepreneurial flair and have a true talent when it comes to delivering an unforgettable atmosphere in a range of situations; whether it’s a warm and friendly welcome to regulars, to hitting it out the park during a sporting event
- You want to fully focus on building one brilliant pub with Craft Unions support, rather than run multiple sites
